So far, no luck on fixing the internal server error. I’m trying to get 1&1 to recognize that a server error is not a WordPress error, but so far I’ve had no success with that. I appreciate your patience while we try to get this problem solved.

I just noticed that the letter “a” has been appearing randomly at the end of my posts, in the RSS feed. I can’t figure out what’s putting it there. I’ve checked all my plugins and can’t see anything odd, but then again I’m not sure I know what I should be looking for.
Maybe it’s an indication that each post is brought to you by the letter A?

I’ve just installed a WordPress plugin that should format this blog properly to appear on an iPhone or iPod Touch. Alas, I have no way to see if it works properly.
Anyone out there properly podded or touched, who can check to see if it works?

Well… I don’t happen to believe in astrology, myself, so the “sign” I refer to is a gravatar. Mine is the logo I created for myself 40+ years ago, to sign my artwork. I don’t see it on many other sites, yet, but I think it’s a pretty neat idea.

I’m doing some administrative maintenance today, installing some new plugins and a WordPress update. Thus, I can mark on my Habit List (courtesy of the ever helpful Productivity501 blog) that I have worked on my blogs today, without having to be original enough to actually think up a new post.

For some reason, my WordPress theme has decided that no matter what level heading I use (or a plug-in inserts) it’s going to use H1. This, as I’m sure anyone can see, messes up the formatting considerably.
I’m not sure how to fix it, but I’ll try to find out. In the meantime, please excuse excessive size and space!

One of the things I’ve done over this too-long hiatus is upgrade the blog to the newest version of WordPress. It’s a nervewracking procedure and I always seem to mess at least one thing up, but eventually I got it all done.
The newest version allows for tags in addition to categories. Over the next few days I will be cleaning up the categories and adding tags, so hopefully the blog will be easier to search. Not that it’s overloaded with entries at the moment, but it should be a little easier if each entry appears in only one category in the future.
Many of the plugins I’ve been using don’t work under the new WordPress and figuring out which ones work and which don’t is going to take a while. Certainly the ones I’ve been using to add meta tags are kaput… dunno what I will do about that.
